Gabi’s work is firmly grounded in the belief that health is not simply the absence of illness and life is not meant to be experienced in a frequent state of suffering and pain. As such, she aims to help you work through any psychological processes that may be keeping you from living well. Overall, Gabi strives to make the therapeutic space health enhancing and thus enabling personal growth, happiness and well-being.
Gabi’s clients can expect to benefit from a warm and caring energy. She combines her therapeutic skills with sound clinical reasoning and knowledge in order to help her clients achieve their mental health goals. Gabi has specialised training in Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). She also has training and experience using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).
Gabi is particularly skilful in helping those experiencing co-occurring or complex issues. She supports clients experiencing a wide range of issues, with particular strengths in addressing:

Gabi has completed a Masters of Clinical Psychology. She is currently studying a Doctor of medicine. Gabi also has significant experience developing and delivering psychological programs in a group format and has spent some time caring for refugees and asylum seekers detained in Nauru. Gabi’s additional medical training allows her to incorporate her knowledge of the biological aspects of mental health into her therapeutic work.
