Theresa is a warm and empathetic clinician. She has a collaborative therapeutic style and views the process of therapy as a partnership whereby clients are empowered to build insight into their own patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Theresa offers a safe and grounded space to assist clients to identify changes they’d like to make in their lives and explore how to achieve and maintain these.
Theresa is due back from Maternity leave in February 2025.

Theresa completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney. She has experience working with adults, adolescents and young people, as well as parents and families in both individuals and group therapy settings. Theresa has worked in clinical research settings delivering and assisting with the evaluation of innovative treatments for children and families experiencing behavioural difficulties. She also has experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare services, including Headspace: the Youth National Mental Health Foundation, Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, and The Royal Hospital for Women. She has a strong research background having worked in paediatric research at Sydney Children’s Hospital and has published a number of research articles on the experience of chronic pain in childhood, particularly the role of parent and family factors.
