Kara is a compassionate and attuned clinician who creates a supportive space for clients to explore themselves and navigate challenges. Her style is open, energetic, casual and accepting. She approaches therapy with curiosity, empathy, and respect for each client’s unique journey.
Kara uses a collaborative approach, integrating evidence-based techniques while recognising each client’s personal experiences and goals. She view’s her clients as the experts on themselves and works with them to ensure they feel safe to express their emotions and are validated and heard throughout the process. Her sessions aim to help clients gain clarity, promote self-growth, develop skills to make positive, lasting changes and live authentically in a way that is meaningful to them.
She works with clients of all ages, with a particular passion for supporting young people and families through life transitions.

Kara completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Wollongong. She has gained experience working with clients of all ages and a wide range of concerns. Her previous roles include working with children and families at the Child and Youth Mental Health Service in Penrith, as well as supporting adults with anxiety disorders at the Nepean Anxiety Disorder Clinic.
