Mindfulness-integrated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MiCBT) combines traditional CBT techniques with mindfulness practices to help individuals manage stress, regulate emotions, and build resilience. At the Institute for Healthy Living, our highly trained therapists deliver MiCBT to empower clients with practical tools for lasting change.
MiCBT involves learning mindfulness practices to enhance self-awareness and applying CBT techniques to challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. For example, a client struggling with stress might practise mindfulness exercises to remain grounded and then reframe negative thinking patterns. Sessions are structured to promote emotional balance and personal growth.
