Jenna has strengths working with Anxiety Disorders and emotional instability. When you work with Jenna, you can expect sessions to be grounding, validating and goal-oriented. Jenna creates a safe space to experience authentic emotions and gain deep introspection in order to work towards healing and transformation. Her style is gentle and compassionate yet directive and motivating. Her intention is to take a holistic approach to help her clients move towards better self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-acceptance in order to live a truly authentic and meaningful life.
Treatment approaches
Jenna is particularly passionate about using mindfulness-based approaches. Her work as a Clinical Psychologist is complimented by her training as a yoga teacher. She finds great benefit by incorporating meditation, breath work, yoga postures, and body awareness into the therapy room. Like all of our clinicians, Jenna is skilful at considering both the scientific evidence with client’s preferences when utilising treatment modalities. She has training in the most up-to date and evidence based therapeutic approaches, including:
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
- Mindfulness-based interventions
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Presenting Issues
Jenna currently offers appointments for adults and adolescents 18 years and older. She has particular strengths working with:
- Anxiety disorders, including specific phobias
- Drug, alcohol and addiction related issues
- Borderline personality disorder, emotional dysregulation issues and high risk behaviours, such as suicidality and self-harm
- Depression
- Interpersonal difficulties and challenges with social skills
- Female sexual dysfunction and sexual disorders

Jenna has completed a Masters of Clinical Psychology. On the days that she isn’t at private practice, she is at Northside Clinic St Leonards where she facilitates a 12-month DBT outpatient program. Her past experience includes work at a specialist phobia clinic, group therapy on a Drug and Alcohol unit and facilitating of yoga and mindfulness group therapy in an eating disorder day program. Jenna is excited to continue combining her interest in yoga and mindfulness with evidence-based therapy.
