Treatment approaches

Naomi is an open-minded, non-judgemental therapist with a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy. Interested in each individual’s unique story, she holds space for their past experiences and offers practical strategies to help navigate internal and external obstacles so individuals can move towards their goals with insight, awareness and authenticity.

She has received training in, and draws from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-based Therapies. Naomi also incorporates somatic and trauma-informed approaches where relevant.

Naomi supports clients experiencing a wide range of issues, with particular strengths working with the following issues:

  • Work/life balance
  • Substance Use and Addiction
  • Gender dysphoria
  • Sexuality

Naomi has experience and a special interest in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. This included supporting clients as they explore their gender identity or sexual orientation, support during transition, navigating relationships, and managing general challenges as well as those specific to marginalised groups.

Graduate Diploma Psychology

Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Hons)

Master of Clinical Psychology

Registered Psychologist with AHPRA (PSY0002174090)

Naomi completed the Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology, Sydney. She has clinical experience from a range of settings including The Gender Centre, private hospital in-patient AOD and mood units, as well as a gambling and university clinic.
