Jaimee is a warm and empathetic clinician with a calm nature. She is a passionate counsellor with a strong desire to help clients overcome personal obstacles to achieve their goals. In her sessions, Jaimee creates an environment that helps promote, educate and empower her clients to build positive behaviours associated with improved mental health.

Through strong therapeutic relationships, Jaimee works in collaboration with her clients to identify and utilise the most appropriate tools and therapeutic approaches to help her clients achieve positive outcomes.

Jaimee supports clients with a wide range of concerns, with particular interest in:

  • Self Esteem
  • Trauma / PTSD
  • Eating Disorders and Body image
  • Interpersonal and relationship difficulties (incl. Couples Therapy)

Qualifications and experience

Bachelor of Counselling ( Australian Catholic University)
Member of the Australian Counselling Association

As a counsellor, Jaimee has worked in multiple settings, including hospitals, schools, community groups and private practice. Jaimee has conducted a mental health screening project at The Royal Children’s Hospital and is in the process of publishing a resource e-book on, “The language of seeking help”, for caregivers of individuals who are experiencing an eating disorder.

Jaimee is also building a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on changing the language used when communicating with and supporting individuals who are experiencing an eating disorder.
