Simon has a warm and empathetic therapeutic style. Deeply committed to collaborating with his clients throughout the therapeutic process, Simon is passionate about providing client-centered therapy.
Working with Simon, you can expect sessions to be explorative, insightful, and non-judgemental. He is interested in the individual’s unique story and assists them in gaining a deeper understanding of their experiences and helps them generate practical solutions to move towards their goals.
Simon has experience in Person-Centred Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Simon has also received training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Simon has experience working with a range of issues, particularly:
- Anxiety and related disorders (including phobias)
- Depression and low self-esteem
- Relationship difficulties (including marriage counselling, pre-marriage counselling, and post breakup counselling)
- Drug, alcohol and addiction related issues
- Life Changes (including retirement, divorce and redundancy)

Provisional Registration with Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation Australia (PACFA)
Simon has completed a Graduate Diploma of Counselling at the Australian College of Applied Psychology, graduating with Distinction.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, Simon completed a Masters degree at Oxford University. He had a career in advertising and marketing, and has an in-depth understanding of corporate work pressures.
Born in England, he has a keen interest in cultural diversity and connects with people from various backgrounds.
