Gavin is a warm, authentic, and non-judgmental clinician who delivers individualised evidence-based therapy. Gavin creates a safe space for clients to explore the context of their difficulties, empowering them to make meaningful life changes and progress towards their goals. Gavin values the collaborative process and the balance between structure and flexibility within sessions.

Gavin supports clients with a wide range of concerns, with particular interest in:

  • Anxiety disorders
  • Depression
  • Stress management
  • Chronic pain
  • Obsessive compulsive disorders
  • Emotion regulation difficulties 

Treatment Approaches

Gavin adopts an eclectic treatment approach, tailoring evidence-based therapies to each individual’s need. He has been trained in and utilised:

  • Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
  • Parent management training (PMT)
  • Mindfulness-integrated CBT (MiCBT)
  • Motivational interviewing

Qualifications and experience

BPsych (Hons), MPsych (Clin)
Associate Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association
Registered Psychologist with AHPRA (PSY0002395565)

Gavin completed his Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney. He has clinical experience working with a range of presentations across settings including an outpatient chronic pain program and a Mindfulness-integrated research clinic.
