Gabrielle is a thoughtful, open, and compassionate therapist who seeks to create a safe space for individuals to understand their difficulties and work towards their objectives. Informed by research and experience, she believes in the value of building a healing therapeutic relationship that allows individuals to explore their psychological experiences holistically and authentically; in their own way and at their own pace.
Gabrielle takes an integrative therapeutic approach that draws on a range of clinical theories and therapies that she tailors to the unique preferences and circumstances of the individual. She seeks to use these in a way that recognises the impact of the individual’s immediate and broader contexts (including the socio-political) on their wellbeing.

Gabrielle supports adults and young people (age 13+) experiencing difficulties related to:
- Trauma, particularly complex/childhood trauma (including emotional neglect)

- Emotional regulation (including emotional over and under-control)
- Eating and body image
- Worry and anxiety
- Substance use
- Minority stress

Gabrielle has had the privilege of supporting individuals experiencing a range of challenges across a variety of settings. This has included providing individual, group, and family-based support to young people with difficulties related to childhood trauma in a public in-patient unit in Northern Sydney. In addition, Gabrielle has worked with adults across university and community mental health services, including those experiencing challenges caused and/or exacerbated by minority stressors (e.g. LGBTQIA+ status, cultural and linguistic diversity, and/or HIV+ status).
